One such event is the 7th Annual SCARS Paws for a Cause Long Lunch, organised by the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge Society (SCARS). Established in 1979, the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (SCARS) is a non-profit, non-euthanasia organisation dedicated to providing temporary refuge and finding new homes for abandoned, abused, stray, and unwanted cats and dogs. Located at 28 Sippy Creek Road, Tanawha, QLD, SCARS operates independently, relying heavily on community support and donations to continue their vital work
