Waraba: Moreton Bay’s Next Big Chapter

Waraba: Moreton Bay’s Next Big Chapter  The Moreton Bay region is about to welcome Waraba, an innovative new suburb that promises to reshape the area’s urban landscape. With over 13,000 residential lots planned across two neighbourhood development precincts (NDP1 and NDP2), Waraba will provide much-needed housing for families, professionals, and first-home buyers alike. Built on a foundation of sustainability, smart infrastructure, and affordability, Waraba represents a forward-thinking vision for how communities can thrive in the modern era.  At Azura Building Group, we are excited to play a role in bringing Waraba to life. Our focus has always been on designing homes that balance luxury, functionality, and sustainability. In Waraba, we see an opportunity to build homes that not only meet the practical needs of families but also minimise environmental impact. Using advanced materials and thoughtful design, we’re creating residences that are energy-efficient and future-ready.  A $151 million Catalyst Infrastructure Fund underpins Waraba’s early development, ensuring essential projects like transport links, parks, and community facilities are prioritised. This includes a $13 million investment in a state-of-the-art district sports park and significant upgrades to Caboolture River Road. These projects will help create a suburb that prioritises connectivity, liveability, and interaction, with green corridors and walkable streets central to its design.  Waraba’s housing market has been carefully planned to address the diverse needs of Moreton Bay residents. From affordable housing for lower-income households to house and land packages starting around $700,000–$750,000, the suburb provides a pathway to homeownership for a wide range of buyers. Innovative funding models have also been incorporated to balance the economic, environmental, and social benefits across the community.  For Azura Building Group, Waraba is an opportunity to showcase what we do best—delivering homes that complement a modern lifestyle while supporting sustainable growth. We’re proud to be part of a project that sets the standard for future communities in one of Australia’s most exciting regions.  Previous Post

Azura Building Group Celebrates 2024 HIA Affordable Home Award Win

Azura Building Group Celebrates 2024 HIA Affordable Home Award Win  Azura Building Group is proud to announce its recent win at the 2024 HIA Awards, securing the prestigious Affordable Home Award for our remarkable project at Aurora Crescent, Mountain View Estate, nestled in the heart of the scenic Glass House Mountains on the Sunshine Coast. This accolade reflects our dedication to providing quality, affordable homes for those most in need.  A Commitment to Affordable Housing  Mountain View Estate is a small, serene community featuring just 33 lots, 15 of which were proudly constructed by Azura Building Group. This development is more than just homes; it’s about allowing low-income women and mothers to achieve homeownership and providing them with a safe, comfortable, and beautiful place to live.  Our focus throughout this project has been empowering first-time homeowners and newly separated women, ensuring that our homes are affordable and of premium quality. Understanding the financial pressures many of our buyers face, we made it our mission to offer homes that suit their budget without sacrificing the key features and modern amenities every family deserves. With nearly 50% of the estate sold, primarily to single women and mothers, this estate stands as a testament to the growing demand for affordable, quality housing solutions.  Tailored Design and Affordability  Azura’s winning home design perfectly balances affordability, practicality, and comfort. Homebuyers in this estate were looking for smaller yet functional spaces they could call their own. Our tailored approach allowed us to create homes that met their exact needs while maintaining financial accessibility. This flexible and personalised approach to home design was central to our award-winning submission.  Quality and Sustainability at Its Core  Azura’s commitment to quality shines through in every aspect of the build. The home’s stylish facade is constructed using high-quality, low-maintenance materials that guarantee both durability and appeal. Featuring a Colorbond Custom Orb Roof Sheeting in “Surfmist” and Harditex Easylap Cladding, the home is designed to withstand Queensland’s climate while maintaining energy efficiency.  Inside, the thoughtful design continues. Open-plan living spaces, modern kitchens with state-of-the-art appliances, and spacious, comfortable bedrooms ensure this home is as practical as it is beautiful. Our use of energy-efficient systems and high-rated plumbing fixtures reduces ongoing operational costs, making it affordable to buy and live in.  Previous Post
